Sports Anchor/Multimedia Journalist
About The Position
KVOA-TV in Tucson, Arizona is looking for an energetic Sports Anchor and Multimedia journalist to lead our local sports content. This full-time position will take someone who can excel in this digital age of journalism. The successful candidate will be a great storyteller who can shoot, write, edit, produce, and anchor, along with being proficient on social platforms. Sports is more than just reading scores and reporting highlights. Your coverage must go beyond the game to tell compelling local stories. If you have a strong on-air presence with a credible delivery and personable style and have the ability to execute engaging live shots, we want you on our team.
Requirements
- A degree in broadcast journalism or a related multimedia field and at least two years of experience as a television sports anchor
- ENPS knowledge a plus. Non-Linear editing knowledge and photography skills are a requirement
- A good driving record
- Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona driver's license.
- A pre-employment background check is required.
