About The Position

Bi-Mart is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Sporting Goods & Automotive Sales Clerk to join its team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy spending free time outdoors and learning about hobbies like fishing and camping, and are looking for a company to grow with. The Sporting Goods & Automotive Sales Clerk is part of the broader Store Team, which is responsible for achieving and maintaining a high level of customer service and friendliness, striving to create the best shopping experience possible for customers. As a community-based company, Bi-Mart aims for customers to feel at home when they shop. The position specifically focuses on building, promoting, and delivering a high degree of customer service, with daily tasks including prompt and friendly service, and precise handling of customer transactions, including age-restricted merchandise, at the sporting goods counter. Other responsibilities may include inventory replenishment, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining merchandise.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or other retail positions
Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Albertsons
Knowledge and experience with camping and other outdoor hobbies
