The Sporting Goods Clerk is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the sporting goods department. This role includes maintaining product displays, stocking inventory, helping customers with product selection, including firearms, processing transactions, and ensuring the department is clean and organized. The Sporting Goods Clerk will contribute to the store’s success by ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience, particularly in the firearms section, and that the store’s inventory is well-maintained. The Sporting Goods Clerk’s primary responsibility is to support customers in selecting sporting equipment, apparel, accessories, and firearms, while maintaining an organized and inviting shopping environment. This role involves assisting with sales, inventory management, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations on firearms, and ensuring the department meets its operational goals.
