Part Time - Sport Camps Health Techs
About The Position
Applicant will be responsible to act as a First Responder and provide First Aid to youth participating in sport specific camps held at Penn State University throughout the year. Duties include triage of injuries, referring injuries to physicians for further care, transporting campers to/from physician visits, monitoring the weather, contacting parents/guardians to discuss care and if needed providing care in the housing facilities for overnight campers. Other duties may be assigned based upon the camp and coverage need. Applicant must be a certified athletic trainer. In addition to required clearances, successful candidates must complete Annual Compliance and Mandated Reporter trainings. To be considered, applicants must be 18+ and apply online.
Requirements

- Applicants must be 18+
- PA State Police Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
- Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
- Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
