Part Time - Tennis Sport Camps Counselor
About The Position
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics- Sport Camps will be hiring individuals to provide instruction and supervision to youth participating in sport specific camps held at Penn State throughout the year. Supervision may extend from the participation venue to the housing and commons areas and all other areas on campus throughout the duration of the program. Duties may also require applicant to help set-up and tear down facilities as needed. In addition to required clearances, successful candidates must complete Annual Compliance and Mandated Reporter trainings. To be considered, applicants must be 18+ and apply online.
Requirements
- Must be 18+
- Must apply online
- Must complete Annual Compliance training
- Must complete Mandated Reporter training
- PA State Police Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
- Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to youth participating in sport specific camps
- Supervise youth participating in sport specific camps
- Supervise youth in housing and commons areas
- Supervise youth in all other areas on campus throughout the duration of the program
- Help set-up facilities as needed
- Help tear down facilities as needed
- Complete Annual Compliance training
- Complete Mandated Reporter training
