The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking (1) to hire an experienced Sponsor Funded Administrative - Research Coordinator I to provide support to the Psychology Department. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for overseeing a grant-funded project in the Cognition and Aging Lab here at GSU. This role will manage the routine daily functioning of the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the assigned research area or a combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Major in Psychology, Gerontology or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee research project, including progress toward study milestones, payment tracking, maintenance of IRB protocols, and general study management.
  • Coordinate participant recruitment activities, including community engagement opportunities and flier distribution.
  • Schedule participants and manage retention activities (e.g. calls and email reminders).
  • Perform pre-screening, data collection, data entry, data analysis, and database management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
