About The Position

CACI is seeking a Splunk Software Engineer (SWE) to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and enhancing Splunk applications and analytics. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • 7+ years of experience with a High School Diploma/GED, 5 years with an Associate's Degree, 3 years with a Bachelor's Degree, 1 year with a Master's Degree, or Splunk certification in Splunk Accredited Core Implementation.
  • All experience and education must be in a technical field directly related to the labor category. Diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees must be from accredited institutions Experience in API development.
  • Proficiency in Splunk scripting (preferably Java/Python).
  • Experience with Git and Jira.
  • Splunk Certification in Splunk Accredited Core Implementation.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
  • Experience validating network throughput.
  • Experience with monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in at least four of the following technologies: JavaScript Regular Expressions (RegEx) REST Services Experience with Python frameworks Elasticsearch/Splunk CI/CD processes Monitoring tools (Nagios, Elastic Beats) Apache NiFi
  • Experience with React or Angular
  • DevOps experience (Ansible, Salt, Docker)
  • Cribl

Responsibilities

  • Develop applications, APIs, scripts, and services.
  • Work on new requirements, application enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Maintain code in a Git repository.
  • Create software system installation or build procedures and scripts.
  • Develop Splunk applications using Splunk, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and/or Python.
  • Assist with escalated customer tickets.
  • Route, transform, and enrich data.
  • Collaborate with data source and data destination customers.
