H2Go Hosts play a pivotal role in various operations and guest experiences here at the park. H2GO Hosts will assist guests as they enter the rides with H2GO products, answering questions and handling product-related issues in a timely and friendly manner. The key to a great Host is always having a smile on their face, being interactive and proactive with the guests, and being able to answer any questions about the park. Requirements

  • Must be 14 years of age or older to comply with New York Child Labor Laws.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be guest-focused and recognize the importance of following all safety guidelines
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
  • Ability to comply with all uniform policies
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
  • Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
  • Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
  • Ability to remain sedentary for periods of time, while using a computer or POS equipment
  • Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 20 pounds or more
  • Continuous exposure to outdoor aquatics environments, and/or sales booth environments.
  • Continuous exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain and other weather conditions
  • Subject to loud noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environments
  • Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a fun and welcoming manner!
  • Delight all guests by providing exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally addressing their questions and concerns
  • Operate all POS equipment accurately to finalize all pass and product purchases
  • Be accountable and accurate on cash handling and/or Point of Sale (POS) activities
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions; promote these events to prospective guests
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe and productive environment for colleagues and guests.
  • Direct both H2Go Pass and non-H2Go Pass guests to specified points in the ride line to ensure proper merging.
  • Collaborate with ride operations staff to ensure guests are loaded on ride in a timely manner.
  • Continually enforce all park rules while dispatching and attending all slides and attractions.
  • Provide a safe and clean facility by effectively managing attractions and grounds
  • Assist other departments with various job duties, including but not limited to, Grounds and Park Services.
  • Escalate issues, complaints, or questions to the appropriate Splish Splash department head or leader
  • All other duties assigned by leadership
