Cabana Check-In Attendants are responsible for providing superior guest service at the Cabana Check-In booth. This role plays an important part in making a good first impression for guests, so the attendants must always convey a friendly and professional attitude, be great at communication, and be able to delight guests by providing exceptional customer service! Requirements

Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with NY Child Labor Laws
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
Ability to comply with all uniform policies
Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
Ability to frequently stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 10 pounds or more
Subject to working in both outdoor and indoor areas of the park
Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain and other weather conditions
Some exposure to dust and chemical cleaning agents
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English

Nice To Haves

Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet all guests with a smile as they approach the cabana areas
Comply with and enforce all Splish Splash and cabana-specific policies, procedures, and protocols
Check guests in and assist them with finding their assigned cabana(s)
Provide guests with accurate information regarding cabana services, amenities, and/or protocols
Ensure accurate transactions and accounting for daily sales
Communicate well with guests, co-workers, and leadership regarding cabana policies and procedures
Ensure that the Check-In area remains clean and safe for our guests
Assist with keeping cabanas clean and presentable for guests throughout their visit
Resolve and address guest concerns in a courteous and prompt manner
Promptly communicate issues or complaints to supervisor, as needed
Ensure that all cabana areas are free of tripping hazards or any other threats that could potentially injure a guest or another employee
Assist other departments and positions throughout Splish Splash, as needed
All other duties assigned by leadership
