This role is designed for clinicians or spiritual care professionals who value presence, listening, and non-denominational support grounded in respect for diverse beliefs, cultures, and life experiences. Overview The Spiritual Care Counselor provides emotional and spiritual support to patients and families of all faiths, belief systems, and cultural backgrounds in accordance with the hospice philosophy and Medicare Conditions of Participation. Working as part of the interdisciplinary group (IDG), this role supports comfort, dignity, and connection through inclusive, patient-centered care.
