Summary: The Spend Executive is responsible for building client strategy through account planning, implementing spend strategies that drive partnership penetration while aligning with client priorities and managing client risk. This role serves as the executive-level point of contact for client supply chain and C-suite stakeholders, and leading client performance improvement to achieve sustainable outcomes. The territory will consist of northern Pennsylvania and southern New York.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or related) desired.
  • 7 r more years of experience in health care supply chain operations serving a health care provider/IDN/health system, and strategic account management, client delivery, or consulting within a complex, matrixed environment required.
  • Proven success managing executive client relationships and driving performance improvement.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and influence skills with demonstrated executive presence.
  • Candidates residing in Pennsylvania and New York are desired.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

  • Client Relationship Leadership
  • Build and sustain trust-based relationships with C-suite and senior executives. Serve as a strategic partner who understands client goals and consistently delivers value that drives measurable improvement.
  • Strategic Account Planning
  • Develop and execute multi-year account strategies aligned with client priorities and organizational objectives. Identify opportunities to expand partnerships through innovative solutions and differentiated performance outcomes.
  • Analytical Storytelling & Problem Solving
  • Leverage data and insights to diagnose challenges, identify opportunities, and communicate recommendations through compelling, evidence-based narratives tailored to executive audiences.
  • Financial & Business Acumen
  • Interpret financial performance metrics and business drivers to inform strategy, measure impact, and ensure alignment with value creation objectives.
  • Strategic Thinking & Planning
  • Anticipate industry trends, guide clients through market shifts, and shape strategies that position both the client and the organization for long-term success.

  • Partner across internal business units to align solutions and resources around client needs. Build consensus and drive coordinated action across diverse teams and stakeholders.
