Requirements
- Speech and Language Pathologist Certification (061)
- Knowledge of assessment tools for comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Knowledge of instructional and assistive technology related to the needs of students with speech-language disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Administers, scores, and interprets speech/language assessments for students
- Develops and implements individual educational plans to meet student needs, interests, and abilities
- Review student's yearly progress and write progress reports and annual reports
- Attend meetings and conferences and participates in staff development activities to promote student professional growth
- Ability to use and interpret data to monitor student progress
- Maintain records as required by law.
