Requirements

  • Speech and Language Pathologist Certification (061)
  • Knowledge of assessment tools for comprehensive speech-language evaluations
  • Knowledge of instructional and assistive technology related to the needs of students with speech-language disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Administers, scores, and interprets speech/language assessments for students
  • Develops and implements individual educational plans to meet student needs, interests, and abilities
  • Review student's yearly progress and write progress reports and annual reports
  • Attend meetings and conferences and participates in staff development activities to promote student professional growth
  • Ability to use and interpret data to monitor student progress
  • Maintain records as required by law.
