Overview Speech-Language Pathologist Part-Time and Full-Time | Palm Beach County, FL Virtual Opportunity | Out-of-State SLPs Welcome | Subcontracting Options Available | $1,000 Bonus Position Details: Grades K-12 Part-time and Full-time (10-30 hours per week) Schools are located in West Palm Beach and Belle Glade Virtual Opportunity | Out-of-State SLPs Welcome Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists from any state may apply. Out-of-state SLPs with active Florida telehealth registration required. Virtual work available. Availability during the school day is preferred. Subcontracting Option: The district has approved the use of subcontractors for the in-person Speech-Language Pathologist role in Palm Beach County. Organizations or independent providers offering subcontract services are welcome to express interest. Bonus details: $1,000 bonus; paid in two installments. Requirements

  • Master Degree or higher
  • Valid and current FL Speech Language Pathology License and out of state licensure would be approved
  • Speech Language Pathology experience with students/children
  • Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication
  • Unwavering belief that all children can learn

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans using evidence-based resources.
  • Maximize each session by tailoring strategies to meet students’ communication goals through pacing, modeling, and differentiation.
  • Create an engaging and supportive environment that promotes skill-building and meaningful connections across therapy sessions.
  • Use assessment data and progress monitoring to guide interventions and track student growth.
  • Engage students by setting clear communication goals, encouraging active participation, and building confidence in expressing themselves.
  • Promote self-advocacy by helping students take ownership of their communication progress.
  • Establish consistent routines that support a positive and productive therapy setting.
  • Participate in professional development and apply evidence-based techniques learned through training.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to continuously refine therapy approaches and enhance effectiveness.
  • Seek and apply feedback to strengthen clinical practice and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of student sessions, progress notes, attendance, and communication data.
  • Use data to evaluate therapy effectiveness and inform next steps in service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and maintain organized therapy materials and resources
  • Other duties as assigned.
