About The Position
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, averaging 35 hours per week with occasional weekend rotation. The SLP provides therapy services in a skilled nursing facility, supporting residents recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. The role focuses on improving communication, cognition, and swallowing function while helping patients regain independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Completed a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Nice To Haves
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings
