About The Position
Healthcare Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join their team at a highly rated continuing care retirement community located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The facility provides various levels of care, from independent & assisted living to skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation. This is a PRN position, offering very flexible hours with minimal commitment. Some weekday availability is preferred. There is also an additional HTS facility with occasional PRN needs located in Oxford, Ohio. Healthcare Therapy Services (HTS) is therapist-owned and managed, focused on perfecting rehabilitation. They provide tools and support, innovative clinical programs, continuing education, and comprehensive benefits to help clinicians thrive and prioritize patient care.
Requirements
- Active Ohio Speech Language Pathologist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Ohio license, including completion of a nationally accredited program and subsequent passing of national licensure exam.
- Hold Certificate of Clinical Competence or be supervised as a Clinical Fellow prior to attaining CCCs.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech therapy services to residents.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine residents' needs and progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and resident progress.
