About STMA Schools We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for preschool and kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12. We also have an 18-22 year old transition program for young adults with special needs. Position Overview & Responsibilities Responsible for identifying students with communication needs; planning and implementing appropriate research based intervention and support according to Individualized Education Program plans; and providing education and direction to school staff, family and related service providers regarding the student’s communication needs. Speech-Language Pathologists are district-wide employees, but generally assigned to one or two main school buildings. Start date : Immediate FTE : Part-Time to Full-Time options available Contract : 186 days (plus 2 days of new teacher orientation for new-to-district teachers, August 19 and 20, 2025) Salary Range: $46,417-$87,434 for 1.0 FTE; actual salary determined pro rata based on the FTE ultimately hired for. Salary range listed ($46,417-$87,434) is based on the collective bargaining agreement for the current school year, and may increase with the negotiation of the 2025-2027 collective bargaining agreement.
