Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and license
- Familiarity with IEP processes, school-based service delivery models, and special education compliance requirements
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, part-time schedule
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to conduct evaluations and therapy in both languages, preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, evaluation reports, and IEP updates
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Communicate as needed with student families; promptly return phone calls and answer emails.
- Build meaningful, positive relationships with all students
- May conduct speech-language evaluations for students referred for services
- May develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state regulations
