Requirements

  • A current and valid state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • A strong commitment to patient-centered, effective care.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective, physician-approved treatment plans for patients.
  • Act as a clinical preceptor, guiding and mentoring Clinical Fellows (CFY) and student clinicians.
  • Work closely with a skilled team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and address challenges.
  • Ensure all patient documentation meets board, government, and third-party payer requirements.
  • Assist with discharge planning by providing essential training to patients, families, and nursing staff.
  • Participate in facility-wide in-service training programs to advance the skills of all staff.
