Speech Language Pathologist (Summer School)
About The Position
The Center for Disability Services offers hope, innovation and achievement to the people they support, having been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities for 80 years. Many of their innovative programs and vital services are not available elsewhere. The Center for Disability Services is looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist to join their Summer School Program in Schenectady, NY. The program dates are from July 8th to August 21st, with orientation on July 7th & 8th. The schedule is Monday – Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM.
Requirements
- Graduate degree (Masters) in field of Speech Language Pathology is required
- New York State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Less than 1 yr of job related experience required in Speech Language Pathology
Nice To Haves
- Professional experience with working with individuals with developmental, physical and neurological disorders preferred
Responsibilities
- Contributes to the mission of the Center, Clinical Department by working collaboratively with program directors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality, state-of-the-art, cost effective services to all individuals served and their families.
