As a Speech‑Language Pathologist in our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department , you will play an essential role in delivering world‑class, patient‑centered care. Our clinicians are recognized leaders in the field—actively involved in research, education, and clinical excellence. In this role, you will:

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP)
  • Active New York State Speech‑Language Pathology license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat medically complex patients with communication and swallowing disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Coordinate care plans and provide education and support to patients, families, and staff
  • Serve as a clinical resource while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the department
