Requirements

  • Master’s (or doctoral) degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
  • Current CA SLP license in good standing.
  • Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and a resident‑first mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat residents based on physician orders and individualized care plans.
  • Develop goal-driven treatment programs, track progress, and adjust as clinically indicated.
  • Document evaluations, daily notes, weekly progress, and recertification per state practice act and payer requirements.
  • Participate in care conferences and in‑service education; partner closely with families and staff.
  • Supervise SLPAs in direct care and patient‑related activities in alignment with state regulations.
