About The Position
Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist for its residential program in Gilroy, CA. The company is committed to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury, including treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries. This role involves providing treatment and evaluations of residents with speech, language, cognitive, linguistic, and swallowing disorders resulting from acquired brain injury. The position also focuses on developing strategies for clients in areas such as memory, language expression, speech production, pragmatics, comprehension, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and swallowing disorders.
Requirements
- Completion of a master’s degree in speech-language pathology
- One-year experience completed with CCC from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- State licensure is required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Nice To Haves
- Experience in treatment of neurologically related physical disorders in community-based settings is strongly preferred
