About The Position

New London Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of educators and specialists. This position plays a key role in supporting students' communication, language, and social development, helping every learner reach their full potential.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Connecticut SLP license or eligibility for certification
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Provide prevention, intervention, and consultation services across educational settings
