About The Position

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, fluency, voice, and communication disorders. This role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and delivering therapy services to meet the needs of the assigned population. The SLP works collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication development and functional outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience with pediatric populations or assigned client group preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate speech, language, fluency, voice, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and/or group settings
  • Prepare written evaluations, progress notes, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings (for school-based roles)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor client progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, and local regulations
