About The Position

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), internally referred to as our Speech Therapist or Speech-Language Therapist. As our Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you are responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PRN. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited college or university with Bachelor's in Speech Therapy
Licensed by the state in Speech-Language Pathology
Current BLS for healthcare provider's certification upon hire and maintain current

Nice To Haves

MS degree in Speech-Language Pathology
One year of experience in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

Responsible for the evaluation, treatment planning and implementation of treatment for patients demonstrating disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing and other services prescribed by a physician
Assists in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs beneficial for the enhancement of the department
Work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults
7:30-4pm; one Saturday per month, holiday rotation, and weekdays as needed/available
