About The Position

Speech Language Pathologist – Independent Contractor (Full-Time) Potential Inc. At Potential Inc.'s Springtime School, we are dedicated to helping children and adolescents on the Autism spectrum develop communication, social, and academic skills to reach their fullest potential. Our Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) play a key role in delivering individualized, evidence-based services to students in a collaborative, supportive environment. This is a full-time independent contractor (1099) position providing in-person services to students in Newtown, PA, with flexibility for indirect tasks. What You'll Do Provide one-on-one and small group speech-language therapy to students ages 6–21 in our school environment Implement individualized care plans in alignment with IEP goals Develop and maintain detailed documentation and progress notes for each student Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, Special Education staff, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Support Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and other assistive technology for students as needed Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment by sharing expertise and supporting colleagues Who You Are Passionate about supporting children and adolescents with Autism in achieving meaningful communication skills Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team Flexible and adaptable, with a professional approach to problem-solving and individualized student needs Comfortable using technology for documentation and progress tracking Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Pennsylvania SLP licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Pennsylvania Instructional 1 Certification Professional liability insurance (for 1099 contractor work) Availability Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:30 PM for direct student services Reliable transportation to Newtown, PA, with flexibility for hybrid/indirect tasks Experience with IEP development and assistive technology preferred What We Offer Salaried pay-consistent income Paid time off and holidays Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans Supplementary insurance plans including life insurance, short- and long-term disability, AFLAC, and pet insurance Support with continuing education, including tuition discounts and potential eligibility for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program Mental health support via our employee assistance program and medical plan 403(b) retirement plan ZayZoon early wage access & FinFit financial wellness tools A supportive, tight-knit team committed to growth and shared purpose Our Mission Potential Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to helping individuals with Autism learn, grow, and thrive. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Pennsylvania SLP licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Pennsylvania Instructional 1 Certification
