About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services within a school-based setting. The SLP will support students’ academic achievement, social development, and functional communication skills through evidence-based assessment, intervention, and collaborative practices. This role focuses on delivering high-quality therapeutic services while working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success across educational environments.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active or eligible Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligible
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development
  • Familiarity with IDEA regulations and IEP documentation requirements
  • Excellent clinical documentation and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills

  • Previous school-based SLP experience
  • Experience with AAC and assistive communication technologies
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse students
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual learning needs

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Identify articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide therapy services in individual, small group, and classroom-based settings
  • Participate in the IEP process, including goal development, progress monitoring, and reporting
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate, data-driven documentation of student progress
  • Support and implement communication strategies across academic settings
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
  • Attend team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
