About The Position

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, sensitivity to diverse populations and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. Requires critical thinking, complex problem solving, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Duties Evaluating patient's abilities and designing appropriate intervention plans to address swallowing, speech, language, and cognitive disorders. Treating patients with therapeutic procedures, modalities and or equipment to improve speech/swallow/cognitive function. Managing work processes efficiently, by completing tasks and assignments in a timely manner. Consistent completion of post-intervention activities including documentation, communication, charge capture.

Requirements

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.

Nice To Haves

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association preferred.
