More about our team Ascension Saint Thomas is a 40- bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the Nashville community for over 3 years. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have a current state board of speech-language pathology & audiology certification.
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

  • Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
  • Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
  • Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
  • Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.
