You are a key support in the daily journey of our residents toward improved communication and connection. You bring empathy, strong communication skills, and a consultative mindset, working closely with residents, patients, and families to ensure everyone understands the care process and feels supported along the way. Responsibilities As our Speech Language Pathologist, you'll evaluate and treat individuals experiencing speech, language, fluency, voice, or swallowing challenges. Your work helps residents regain skills and improve their ability to connect and communicate with the world around them.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Ohio
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to determine communication and swallowing impairments
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans
  • Lead individual or group treatment sessions focused on speech, language, or swallowing
  • Educate patients and families on strategies for improved communication
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately
  • Coordinate administrative needs, including scheduling, billing, and care planning
