Assists in outpatient adult and acute care SLP services including modified barium swallow studies. Make a profound impact as you create and execute personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Provide extensive education to patients, their families, and caregivers regarding their communication or swallowing disorder, prognosis, therapy techniques and home practice strategies. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals (e.g. physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupation therapists, audiologists, teachers) to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
