The Creekside School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students with moderate to severe developmental disabilities. This is a full-time position working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). WHAT YOU’LL DO Provide speech-language therapy services as directed by the SLP Support students in developing communication, social, and life skills Implement IEP goals and track student progress through accurate data collection Use AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) and other evidence-based strategies Collaborate with teachers, behavior staff, and families to support student success Help create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Valid California SLPA license Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders, Education, Psychology, or related field Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities Familiarity with AAC systems and working with non-verbal students Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills WHY JOIN THE SCHOOL Supportive, collaborative team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students’ lives Ongoing training and professional development
