As a Specialty Technician, you will report to a Service Manager or Field Supervisor. Your role involves inspecting properties for pest entry points and sealing gaps to prevent rodents and wildlife from entering. This may require minor construction work in attics, crawlspaces, and roofs, while ensuring safety and providing client reports. Your tasks include assisting route technicians, building client relationships, conducting inspections, planning treatments, applying solutions safely, managing traps, sealing entry points, educating clients, maintaining records, and ensuring equipment upkeep. Adhere to pest control regulations and safety standards. Inspect residential and commercial properties for pest infestations. Seal openings using various materials and perform minor repairs. Prepare and apply chemical solutions while ensuring safety compliance. Manage traps and non-chemical pest control methods. Seal entry points to prevent future infestations. Set and retrieve traps for nuisance animals. Educate clients on preventative measures. Maintain detailed service records. Ensure company vehicles and equipment are clean and stocked. Comply with safety guidelines. Load and unload tools and equipment. Coordinate services and handle customer complaints professionally. Operate power tools as required. Use technology for communication with clients and coworkers. Work collaboratively in a positive team environment. Troubleshoot construction flaws and seal entry points. Inspect and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE). Complete daily routes for termite jobs, applying treatments and installing baiting systems. Inspect properties for termite activity. Perform additional duties as assigned.
