About The Position

Royal Oak - Full time, day shift, Monday-Friday with every 6th weekend rotation. About the unit The Home Infusion Pharmacy is responsible for the clinical management and dispensing functions for our Home Infusion patients. About Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Royal Oak Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 doctors on faculty. Scope of Work Under moderate direction and supervision, operate in designated areas or job functions within the site location. Functions relatively independently and has some decision-making responsibility. May interact with other departments and/or businesses outside of the pharmacy department. Enhanced knowledge/training of area assigned above and beyond a pharmacy technician. Participates in training of employees in the area of specialty. Operates in a designated area of specialty or assigned responsibilities above and beyond technician duties. Assumes ownership and ensures quality and completeness of work assigned. Responsible for data collection and/or reporting related to assigned area/project. Serves as a role model and leader in the department. Escalates any concerns that are identified in their area of work through chain of command. Required to adhere to regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance (including USP [795] [797] [800] in sites that perform sterile compounding).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy.
  • LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
