About The Position

As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be responsible for interpreting and entering prescription data in our pharmacy system, answering incoming calls, and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. Other assignments and projects as needed Maintain proficiency and quality as standardized by the department

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1 year Pharmacy
• 3 years Retail Pharmacy
• Pharmacy Tech, State Cert (PHT) - State Licensing Board
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
• Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA)

Nice To Haves
