About The Position

As a CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist at Sky Lake Medical Center Specialty Pharmacy, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy. Schedule: This full time, exempt position will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. About the Facility: Sky Lakes Medical Center is a 176-bed, non-for-profit, internationally accredited, acute care teaching hospital serving more than 80,000 people in Klamath and Lake counties in Oregon and Modoc and Siskiyou counties in northern California. As the only hospital in a 10,000 square mile area, Sky Lakes combines small town charm with big-city medical expertise. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC. About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm.

Requirements

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current Oregon Pharmacist license in good standing

Nice To Haves

  • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice residency program
  • Experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage specialty medication therapies for complex, chronic, or high-cost conditions
  • Provide patient education and counseling, focusing on adherence, administration, side effects, and outcomes
  • Coordinate care with providers, payers, and manufacturers to ensure therapy access and continuity
  • Oversee prior authorizations and utilization management, ensuring compliance with payer and program requirements
  • Monitor effectiveness and safety of therapy, including lab values, adherence metrics, and patient-reported outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with REMS and accreditation standards, including documentation and reporting requirements
  • Support quality initiatives and outcomes reporting, meeting specialty pharmacy performance and regulatory metrics
