About The Position
The Specialized Support Sitter position is for individuals in San Diego County, matching them with families within 20 miles of their home. This role involves engaging with neurodivergent children through various activities such as playing, reading, and arts and crafts in the families' homes. Requirements
- At least 1 year of childcare or nanny experience
- At least 2-3 childcare references are required
- Reliable and insured transportation is required to travel to various family homes
- Cell phone with data to accept and record assignments
Responsibilities
- Be an engaging, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and other activities in families' homes
- Travel to various family homes
- Accept and record assignments using a cell phone with data
- Potentially drop off and pick up children for activities during your shift
