About The Position

Provides one-on-one observation of a designated patient. Sitters are under the
supervision of the registered nurse and should notify them of any patient needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Ability to sit and directly observe hospital patients.
• CPR

Responsibilities

• Performs direct observation as assigned under the direction of licensed nursing personel.
• Provides for patient safety.
• Participates in ongoing educational activities.
• Completes assigned goals.
