About The Position

Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Incumbents work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies Identifies and compiles data sets using a variety of tools (e.g. SQL, Access) to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business to business outcomes Responsible for documenting data requirements, data collection / processing / cleaning, and exploratory data analysis; which may include utilizing statistical models / algorithms and data visualization techniques Incumbents in this role may often be referred to as Data Scientists Specialization in marketing, risk, digital and AML fields possible Build Front end and pipelines to synthesized information for Sales Designs Chatbot scripts, and user interactions across platforms This role will require utilizing next gen data science techniques, or advanced data analytics for practical business applications. Interfaces with subject matter experts to understand processes and their end products Source and collate data to build use cases and perform exploratory analysis to validate usability Create and deliver executive, high-impact output which directly improves the business, and communicate clearly through demos and presentations

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience
• Working experience in a quantitative field, Financial/Credit Card industry
• Must have Demonstrated ability in data retrieving and manipulation as well as proficient analytical skills
• Excellent analytic ability and problem solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent MS Excel skills to develop analytic presentations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized, detail oriented, and adaptive to matrix work environment
• Bachelors/University degree, Master's degree preferred
• Bachelor's degree in STEM/Finance
• Demonstrable knowledge of Financial Markets products
• Experience with python for analytics, or object orientated coding
• Highly effective communicator, able to interact with stakeholders
• Sound logical thinking, good attitude / work ethics
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
