About The Position

This position will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of Treasury responsibility. The role is responsible for standard and complex treasury activities supporting cash operations, including disbursements, unclaimed property and retained assets. They will perform treasury activities accurately, timely, and in compliance with controls/regulations to support cash and/or statutory requirements.

Requirements

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
  • 1 - 3+ Years of experience in Treasury and/or Finance that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with accounts payable/money out functions including ACH, wire transfers and check processing.
  • Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution.
  • Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Define problems, collect data, evaluate trends, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Strategic thinker who can adapt quickly to changing priorities and persevere through challenges.
  • Ability to perform under stress in cases of emergency, critical or hazardous situations.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements.
  • Ability to travel, up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Promote and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identifie and communicate to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Process money out transactions for the entire enterprise, ensuring accuracy and productivity standards are met.
  • Reconcile accounts and transactions related to disbursements; identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies.
  • Creates and maintains reports and provides analysis to internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Prepares ad hoc reports, analysis, and research as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with appropriate internal/external stakeholders (i.e. banking partners).
  • Resolve issues with internal/external auditors in a collaborative manner.
  • Perform treasury activities in compliance with policies and principles, internal controls, and SOX.
  • Identify treasury issues/concerns and makes recommendations to yield more effective operations.
  • Carry out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Remain current in profession and industry trends.
  • Perform other duties as required.
