About The Position

The Role: Entegris is seeking a Specialist in Trade Compliance US Duty Management to join our team in Billerica. MA. The Trade Compliance Specialist supports Entegris’ Trade Compliance Program by ensuring adherence to U.S. import/export laws and regulations. Responsibilities include managing duty drawback programs, Free Trade Agreement compliance, import and export audits, training, and providing guidance on compliance issues. The Trade Compliance Specialist interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, freight forwarders, customs brokers and other functional contacts to ensure trade compliance].

Requirements

  • Bachelor´s degree in related field or 2-5 years’ of Trade Compliance experience required
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with US customs and customs brokers required
  • Experience with SAP and GTS preferred
  • Experience with MS Office applications, especially advanced skills in Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing duty drawback programs and support investigating new duty drawback opportunities or other duty mitigation or saving opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement of duty drawback reporting and related trade compliance processes to ensure compliance, increase efficiency
  • Manage country of origin certification process and US Free Trade Agreement certification requests and verify eligibility
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Chemists to determine and maintain HTS codes and country of origin for materials in SAP
  • Provide training to respective team members around US duty drawbacks, certificates of origin and Free Trade Agreement tasks for back up and support
