About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist role is responsible for Identifying, attracting and securing top talent that aligns with the organization’s values, culture and strategic objectives. This position ensures a seamless recruitment process by building strong candidate pipelines, fostering positive candidate experiences and partnering with hiring managers to meet workforce needs. This role will be based at the Hermosa Project site near Patagonia, Arizona. Other key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field
  • Three to five years’ experience in Talent Acquisition field within mining, construction, manufacturing, or other heavy industry related field.
  • Expertise in Talent Acquisition strategies, sourcing methodologies, and recruitment best practices.
  • Proficient in Boolean search techniques and candidate sourcing on platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and niche job boards.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms; SAP and SuccessFactors preferred.
  • Skilled in leveraging recruitment technologies and analytics to optimize hiring processes and improve time-to-fill metrics.
  • Ability to design and implement process improvements for recruitment workflows and candidate experience.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards and workforce planning principles.

  • SAP & Success Factors knowledge (preferred)
  • Preference will be given to candidates with current or previous mining industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to assess workforce needs and define role requirements.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain job descriptions and specifications for targeted positions.
  • Execute sourcing strategies aligned to project timelines and long‑term workforce plans.
  • Create and place compelling job advertisements across the most effective channels.Source, screen, and assess candidates (resume review, interviews, assessments) to ensure qualifications and fit.
  • Build and manage proactive talent pipelines and connect qualified candidates to hiring managers quickly.
  • Coordinate interview logistics across stakeholders to deliver a smooth candidate experience.
  • Provide ongoing candidate communication and updates to ensure a positive hiring journey.
  • Advise on compensation strategy and support offer development and salary negotiations.
  • Manage pre‑employment processes (physicals, drug screens, background checks) and ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements; leverage recruiting technology and analytics to drive efficiency; and promote inclusive, legally compliant hiring practices and employer brand through events and community relationships.
