About The Position

Plan trailers / containers according to daily requirements / maximum capacity
Create and close out load lists in SAP for all customers
Create manual shipping documents
Get quotes from carriers
Maintain customer- and trucking portals in the web
Monitor due dates
Communicate with production planers, carriers, material handlers, supervisor, warehouse manager
Scan and file shipping documents
Other office duties

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer knowledge
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good attendance record
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Good communication skills
• Willing to work variable office hours, also weekends if necessary
• forklift license

Nice To Haves

• SAP and customs knowledge preferable
• Spanish helpful
