About The Position

The overall purpose of this role is to achieve sales objectives and drive revenue growth by structuring and securing new marketing contracts with owners and developers of small and medium sized apartment, condo and single-family homes within an assigned territory. This is a mid-level sales representative position requiring intermediate knowledge of sales principles, practices, products, and services. The role manages small to mid-size sales with direct on-going supervision and is responsible for a small to moderate quota or territory. The Specialist Sales Executive utilizes company policies and exercises judgment to resolve customer issues or identify opportunities. Duties directly related to making sales include meeting with customers and engaging in sales activities at customer sites; communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales; traveling to/from customer premises for sales activities; providing subject matter expertise on technical sales issues; advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs; preparing proposals/presentations/bids, including developing pricing/strategic plans and proposed solutions/sales; researching/developing solutions with AT&T external partners, including design/engineering; and researching customer business/industry to identify new sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 2+ years of related sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Form strong relationships with apartment owners and developers by meeting them at their locations.
  • Develop and manage sales opportunities to meet sales targets.
  • Secure new marketing agreements after evaluating opportunities with owners and developers.
  • Coordinate with Network and product teams on product and service availability.
  • Create and present proposals to customers.
  • Negotiate contract terms with internal contract managers and legal.
  • Meet with customers and engage in sales activities at customer site.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales.
  • Travel to/from the customer premise for sales activities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on technical sales issues.
  • Advise customers on suitability of products based on technical needs.
  • Prepare proposals/presentations/bids, including developing pricing/strategic plans and proposed solutions/sales.
  • Research/develop solutions with AT&T external partners, including design/engineering.
  • Research customer business/industry to identify new sales opportunities.
