The Specialist, Sales (Education) is a territory-based Assessment Consultant responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through consultative, relationship‑based engagement across the K‑12 Education market. This position is well‑suited for professionals with a background in clinical or school psychology who are motivated to grow a territory through trusted partnerships. The Specialist, Sales (Education) leverages deep knowledge of Clinical Assessment products to serve as a trusted, consultative resource for Special Education directors, school administrators, and other K‑12 professionals. By aligning district needs with evidence‑based clinical assessment and digital solutions, this role supports screening, evaluation, and assessment decisions that promote better learning outcomes. As a thought leader, the Specialist, Sales (Education) helps clients adopt technology‑enhanced assessment tools, drawing on professional expertise from formal education and field experience to guide district clinicians, leaders, and staff. Success in this position involves driving growth by recognizing opportunities and delivering comprehensive Pearson Clinical solutions. Focused on the US K‑12 market, the Specialist, Sales (Education) partners with school psychologists, SLPs, OTs, and administration to ensure solutions are tailored to the unique needs of students and schools. The main duties of the Specialist, Sales (Education) include achieving annual territory revenue targets, anticipating customer needs, providing pre‑sales consultation, supporting technology integration, and guiding customers through decision‑making processes. A successful Specialist, Sales (Education) will expand business and achieve sales targets by uncovering new, impactful opportunities and delivering high‑quality consultation throughout the customer relationship.
