University Outreach and Engagement seeks a Research Specialist to lead and support research initiatives focused on Tribal early childhood education. The successful candidate will collaborate with Tribal communities to develop culturally grounded preschool curricula, train Tribal preschool teachers on curriculum implementation, and conduct education research. Additional responsibilities include refining and testing research measures, implementing Classroom Assessment Scoring System observations, analyzing data, and disseminating findings through peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and community outreach. The Tribal Early Childhood Education will report to the Native American Institute Director and to the Director for Community Partnerships in the Office for Public Engagement and Scholarship. This position is a one-year fixed-term position with consideration for renewal based on performance and funding.
