Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us . The primary focus of the Specialist, Quality Control (QC) role will be to perform GMP testing to support product release and in-process testing. This role will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for analytical or microbiological tests. Perform or support cGMP activities, such as but not limited to, sample management, product testing, raw material release, environmental monitoring sample collection and processing, and system and equipment maintenance support. Support assay transfer and method validation. Identify and facilitate continuous improvement projects. Identify and initiate Deviations, CAPA’s and Laboratory Investigations. Perform data verification, data review and review of GMP documentation for general methods. Trains analyst on general job duties. Ensure timely completion of testing and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with basic laboratory techniques and laboratory safety practices.
  • Detail oriented with ability to work in a high-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Computer proficiency as well as the ability to master new software programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of regulated industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working a GMP environment is preferred.
