About The Position

The Role Entegris is currently seeking a Buyer-Planner to join our Materials Management team. This position will be based in our Ambler facility. In this role, you will support the Ambler Operations Team with Direct Procurement and Planning activities while facilitating reliable commit dates to our customers. Champion delivery and inventory objectives for the Ambler site while maintaining accurate Planning and Procurement records in SAP. Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers ensuring reliable supply to the Ambler facility. What You’ll Do Manage operational procurement excellence to achieve objectives for delivery, lead time, cost and invoice reconciliation. Exception Management – Efficiently identify and manage procurement exceptions while focusing on continuous improvement of procurement processing. Supplier Relationship Management – Effectively “coach” suppliers to be best in class partners. Work with Commodity Managers and Supplier Quality Engineers to optimize supplier performance. Provide input to sourcing strategies and develop internal/supplier relationships that extract maximum value from the current and potential supplier base. Verifies the Production Schedule and interfaces with Marketing, Sales, Operations and Engineering to resolve labor, equipment and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule deficits and / or interruptions. Maintains and initiates change to parameters in the Material Master that influence accurate and optimized MRP signals. (MRP Type, Lead times, SMKs, SPKs, MOQ, Lot size/settings, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience in procurement.
  • 5+ Years’ progressive experience in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • A passion for winning as a team, achieving results and a desire for continued success in a growth environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment under time constraints

Nice To Haves

  • Planning/Production scheduling experience a plus.
