About The Position

This Program Manager (PM) position is an experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management. May manage projects or processes with general supervision. Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. Recommends enhancements to systems and processes. Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results. Work consists of making moderate enhancements or improvements to systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area. Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are general, and may require understanding of broader set of issues but typically are not complex. Problems may require understanding of other job areas. Problems are typically solved drawing from prior experiences, with analysis of the issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • No barriers to obtain at least a Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Occasional overtime work as needed to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing T&M contracts for product sustainment and LSI support.
  • Manage the financials of the associated T&M contracts, including LTS and SAP forecasting.
  • Support the Demand review and advise on staffing requirements.
  • Responsible for all invoicing for the T&M contracts.
  • Assist the Sr. PM with CDRL and Milestone deliveries of all contracts.
  • Build Program Review packages for the T&M contracts.
  • Lead the overall integration of the program integrated master schedule (IMS) and track progress on the program.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal customers, such as engineering, finance, business development, and manufacturing.
  • Assist or lead pursuit activities, working closely with Sr. PM and Business Development.
  • Assist in the management for execution of bids and proposals and ensure compliance.
