About The Position

The Specialist Process Material Delivery role at Roechling Automotive Duncan involves monitoring material and regrind usage to ensure machines do not run out, managing material inventory, and ordering internally for all three shifts. The role also includes monitoring dryer temperatures, collecting scrap totes from each machine during respective shifts, keeping material bins full on the production floor, and monitoring metal separator blow off, reporting excessive blow off to Technical Leads. This position participates with Technical Leads and production planning for day-to-day activities. Key tasks include blending resins (Rubber, zone1 / W.A.L., zones 1&2), cleaning disc filters on each press, cleaning hopper magnets during each set-up, and performing material changeovers during set-up. The specialist is also responsible for dumping Gaylord Boxes into Blue Bins for material refills and staged bins for off shifts, maintaining a 5s assigned area by the Technical Leads, and training and mentoring apprentices when present. Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Forklift certification
  • Some computer skills required
  • High School Diploma / GED

Nice To Haves

  • Related experience in a molding facility and knowledge in related plastics field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of injection molding materials preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor all material and regrind usage, insuring all machines do not run out of material
  • Monitor material inventory and order internally for all three shifts
  • Monitor dryer temperatures
  • Responsible for collecting scrap totes from each machine during respective shift
  • Responsible for keeping the material bins full on production floor
  • Monitor metal separator blow off on all machines
  • Report excessive blow off to Technical Leads
